Our proposals are being designed with a strong landscape-led focus, to embed key Garden City principles and create high-quality streets and amenity spaces:

• Main/tertiary streets (east-west streets) – being designed to integrate pedestrian footways, street trees and visitor parking.
• Western/edge streets – greater emphasis on tree planting to filter views from the west to the Major Urban Park.
• Farmstead courtyards – integration of hard and soft landscaping to create interesting farmstead style courtyard arrangements, allowing for informal amenity spaces set in landscape planting.
